TOP 10 MANUFACTURERS OF SUNSCREEN COSMETICS IN UKRAINE 2025
Rating of Sunscreen Cosmetics Manufacturers in Ukraine from Ukrainian Business Award

In the Ukrainian beauty industry, sunscreen cosmetics have ceased to be a seasonal product – they have become an everyday part of care, chosen consciously and demandingly. Users are no longer satisfied with just SPF: they pay attention to texture, safety, availability of certification, customer service, as well as the popularity of the brand in the online environment. Manufacturers, who previously focused only on basic body products, are now creating facial lines, accessories, products with different levels of protection and new generation formulas. This has brought the market to a serious level of competition, where not only the formulas themselves are being improved, but also customer service, distribution and digital visibility. Ukrainian Business Award analyzed the 10 strongest Ukrainian brands according to a set of key indicators that reflect the real quality and stability of companies in 2025.
The variety of products in the line shows how much the brand is able to cover various customer needs – from daily care to active recreation. The leaders in this category are TANOYA and BOGIKA, which have six types of products each, creating the widest possible range of solutions for different situations. Sane, JOKO BLEND, SUE, MyIDi, YUKA, vesna and EVO derm hold a strong position, offering five categories of products each and demonstrating a systematic approach to developing the range. MEDACTIVE has a much more modest selection, which is represented by only two types of products. Such a difference in the range forms a clear understanding of who works for the mass market and who occupies a niche.

Different SPF levels allow the manufacturer to work with a wider range of customers – from those looking for light protection in the city to those who need maximum intensity for the beach or sports. The leaders with the largest number of variations are TANOYA and MyIDi, which offer five SPF levels each. Sane has a strong set with four levels, as well as MEDACTIVE – three. JOKO BLEND, BOGIKA, YUKA and vesna offer two levels each, which makes their lines more compact. The fewest options are in SUE and EVO derm, which have only one SPF level, but emphasize a specific product and its quality.
Certification is one of the key criteria that confirms safety and compliance with international standards. The absolute leader here is MyIDi, which has 16 certificates, which significantly exceeds other brands and confirms a high level of quality control. BOGIKA is in second place with seven certificates, followed by Sane (5) and JOKO BLEND and vesna (4 each). TANOYA has three certificates, MEDACTIVE and YUKA have two each, and SUE and EVO derm have one each. The difference between the leaders and younger brands is noticeable, but all companies in the ranking confirm basic quality standards.

In skincare, service is as important as the product’s composition, so a high CX is a significant advantage. The maximum score of 10 points was received by Sane, SUE, JOKO BLEND and MyIDi, which are distinguished by fast support, thoughtful consultations and convenient communication channels. TANOYA, BOGIKA, vesna and EVO derm each received 9 points, which ensure a stable level of interaction with customers. YUKA and MEDACTIVE received slightly lower scores — 8 points, which still demonstrates a good level, but leaves room for development. Overall, CX in this category is quite high.
Popularity in search engines reflects the level of trust and influence of the brand in the market. TANOYA received the largest number of brand queries, which confidently leads the category. SUE and YUKA also have a strong position, sharing second place. Next are vesna, JOKO BLEND, Sane and BOGIKA, which have stable recognition and good SEO work. MyIDi, MEDACTIVE and EVO derm receive fewer requests, but they continue to increase their online presence thanks to activity in social networks and advertising campaigns.

Reviews shape a brand’s reputation and are a decisive factor when choosing skincare products. The category leader is MyIDi, which has 100% positive reviews, which is a rare result for the cosmetics segment. BOGIKA (99%) and vesna (98%), as well as JOKO BLEND (97%) and Sane (96%) are very close in terms of perceived quality. YUKA received 93%, MEDACTIVE — 91%, SUE — 89% and EVO derm — 87%. The lowest figure is for TANOYA (85%), which indicates different user ratings depending on the products.

Online activity clearly demonstrates the popularity of the brand and the strength of its marketing campaigns. MyIDi has the highest traffic — 163,890 visits, which significantly exceeds the indicators of competitors. Next are TANOYA (24,722), BOGIKA (21,971) and JOKO BLEND (21,002), which maintain activity in the middle segment. SUE shows 20,863 visits, vesna — 15,487, YUKA — 13,819. Lower results are achieved by EVO derm (9,580), Sane (5,147) and MEDACTIVE (1,108), but even these figures indicate stable interest of narrow audiences.
Social networks have become a key communication channel for cosmetic brands, and the level of activity directly affects recognition. The best performers are SUE, JOKO BLEND and MyIDi, which received 4 points each for the intensity of publications and interaction with the audience. TANOYA, EVO derm, YUKA, BOGIKA, and MEDACTIVE are at a good level — 3 points each. Vesna and Sane have a slightly lower presence in social networks — 2 points each, which indicates a more cautious content approach compared to active competitors.

The expert assessment summarizes product quality, innovation, reputation and customer experience. The highest score — 4.8 — was received by BOGIKA and MyIDi, which combine strong formulas, a wide range and a high degree of customer trust. The second group with a score of 4.7 was formed by Sane, SUE, JOKO BLEND, vesna, MEDACTIVE, YUKA and TANOYA, which demonstrate balanced indicators in all categories. EVO derm received 4.5 points and completes the rating with a worthy result.
The 2025 rating shows that the Ukrainian sun care cosmetics market has become more structured and mature. Industry leaders — MyIDi, BOGIKA, Sane, SUE, JOKO BLEND and others — are investing in formula development, expanding lines and improving customer service. Younger brands, such as MEDACTIVE and EVO derm, demonstrate prospects, although they are inferior in scale. Thanks to competition, Ukrainian consumers receive a wide selection of quality products that meet international standards and provide effective protection in any conditions.
