Demand for this product is formed both due to daily consumption and due to the growing interest in balanced nutrition, protein products and local brands. The Ukrainian Business Award rating includes brands that demonstrate a systematic presence in retail chains, work with the assortment, control quality and maintain contact with the consumer. The TOP-10 includes AMA, Molokiya, Yagotynskyi, Ukrainskyi, Ulyublenyi, Zveni Gora, Ferma, Vilnyanka, PROSTONASHE and MiMiMilk. The rating is based on product, market, digital and reputation indicators.
The breadth of the range determines the brand’s ability to cover various consumer scenarios – from basic home use to specialized formats. The largest selection is provided by TM “Ukrainskyi” with 15 positions of fermented milk cheese, which allows working with the mass segment. AMA is represented by 12 positions, forming a wide line with a focus on accessibility. “Ulyublenyi” and “Zveny Gora” have 9 positions each, maintaining a balance between diversity and recognition. Yagotynsky and Molokiya offer 6 products each, focusing on key SKUs. PROSTONASHE, MiMiMilk, Ferma and Vilnyanka work with a compact assortment of 3–4 positions, focusing on clearly defined demand.

Yagotynsky offers 2 options, focusing on the most popular formats.
The breadth of distribution directly affects the accessibility of the brand to the consumer. MiMiMilk has the largest coverage — 11 retail chains, as well as AMA and PROSTONASHE — 10 chains each. Ukrainskyi, Ulyublenyi and Vilnyanka are represented in 8 chains, ensuring a stable national presence. Yagotynsky works with 6 chains, Molokiya with 5. Ferma has a more limited distribution with 2 chains, focusing on selective sales channels. Zveny Gora did not record a presence in large chains within the rating, relying on alternative sales formats.

The customer orientation index demonstrates the level of consumer satisfaction with the product and interaction with the brand. The maximum score of 10 points was received by AMA, PROSTONASHE, Ferma, Molokiya, Zveny Hora, MiMiMilk and Yagotynskyi. This indicates stable quality, product predictability and positive perception of the brands. Ulyubleny, Vilnyanka and Ukrainskyi have 9 points each, remaining in the zone of high customer comfort. In general, the fermented milk cheese segment demonstrates a high average level of CX, which confirms the maturity of the market.
The duration of the brand’s presence builds trust and historical recognition. The absolute leader is Zveny Hora with 92 years of operation on the market. AMA and Vilnyanka have 30 years of experience each, Molokiya has been operating for 23 years. Ulyublenyi and Ukrainsky have been on the market for 13 years, Ferma for 12, Yagotynskyi for 10. PROSTONASHE has been operating for 2 years, and MiMiMilk for 1 year, making them the youngest participants in the rating. Thus, the rating combines brands with a deep history and new players that are quickly adapting to modern demand.

Brand search queries show real consumer interest in the digital space. The leaders in recognition are Molokiya and Yagotynskyi, which are consistently present in user queries. They are followed by Zveni Hora and AMA. Ferma, Ukrainskyi and Ulyublenyi form an average level of search demand. PROSTONASHE, Vilnyanka and MiMiMilk demonstrate lower indicators, which is typical for younger or niche brands that are still increasing their digital presence.
The level of website traffic demonstrates the activity of the audience in online channels. Yagotynskyi is significantly ahead of the others with 54,975 visits per month. Molokiya takes second place with 13,211 visits. Ferma, Zveni Hora and AMA operate in the range of 1 to 2 thousand visits, maintaining a basic digital presence. Ulyubleny and Ukrainsky have 898 visits each, PROSTONASHE – 761. MiMiMilk and Vilnyanka show minimal traffic, focusing mainly on offline sales.

The level of positive reviews shapes the digital reputation of brands. AMA has 100% positive ratings, Ukrainskyi — 99%, Ulublenyi — 98%. Vilnyanka shows 96%, Ferma — 91%. PROSTONASHE has 90%, Zveny Hora — 88%. Yagotynskyi, Molokiya, and MiMiMilk are in the range of 77–81%, indicating stable but less homogeneous customer feedback.

The growth rates show the change in the positions of brands in the segment. The highest dynamics is demonstrated by Yagotynskyi with an indicator of 2.48, significantly ahead of other participants in the rating. AMA has 0.46, Vilnyanka — 0.33, MiMiMilk — 0.31. PROSTONASHE, Molokiya, Ulyublenyi and Ukrainskyi demonstrate moderate growth. Zveny Gora and Ferma have minimal growth rates, maintaining a stable position without sharp changes.
Social networks remain an auxiliary communication channel. The most active are Zveny Gora, Molokiya, Yagotynskyi and Vilnyanka — 3 points each. MiMiMilk, PROSTONASHE, Ferma and AMA have 2 points each. Ulyublenyi and Ukrainskyi do not demonstrate an active presence in social networks, focusing on classic channels of interaction with consumers.

The final score of the Ukrainian Business Award jury summarizes all the rating criteria. AMA received the highest score — 4.8 points. Molokiya has 4.7, Yagotynsky — 4.3. Ferma, Zveni Gora, MiMiMilk and PROSTONASHE received 4.2 points each. Ulyubleny and Ukrainsky have 4 points each, Vilnyanka — 3.7 points. The scores reflect the balance between scale, quality and development dynamics.
