Olha Nikitenko —Entrepreneur of the Year 2026 in the field of sustainable packaging production according to the Ukrainian Business Award

Olha Nikitenko is an entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the field of sustainable packaging, specializing in the development and implementation of environmentally friendly solutions aimed at reducing the use of plastic and switching to biodegradable materials.

She has developed and patented industrial solutions that have been implemented in more than 1,600 retail outlets across Ukraine, including the largest national chains such as METRO, MHP, Silpo, WOG and Aurora. The scale of implementation confirms their compliance with high market requirements and wide commercial applicability.

Olha Nikitenko’s contribution to the industry is manifested in the creation and scaling of solutions that form new standards of sustainable packaging and contribute to the transition of business to ecological models. Her activities also have a positive impact on the economy of Ukraine through the development of the domestic market, cooperation with leading retailers and expansion of production.

As the Development Director of Alpha Paper Cup, she is responsible for the strategic development and growth of the company.

The title of “Entrepreneur of the Year 2026 in the field of sustainable packaging production” is awarded on a competitive basis based on the results of the expert jury’s assessment, taking into account innovativeness, scale of implementation and contribution to the development of the industry. According to the results of the competitive selection, Olha Nikitenko was recognized as the winner for her significant contribution to the development of the sustainable packaging industry and the implementation of solutions on a national scale.
