In 2021, the Ukrainian Business Award recognized Maksym Marshchivskyy, an entrepreneur who not only created a new retail format but also brought the culture of consumption to a qualitatively new level. His vision of business as a platform for forming communities, habits, and a comfortable urban environment was the reason for the well-deserved recognition.

In 2021, Maksym Marshchivskyy implemented an innovative format for Ukraine, “shop-coffee shop-bakery”, which instantly gained popularity in the capital. The project was distinguished by a well-thought-out customer route, original interior and the use of modern IT solutions – in particular, self-service checkouts and analytical systems based on QlikView. This allowed not only to optimize purchases, but also to significantly improve the quality of service.

By the time of receiving the award, Maksym had over 15 years of experience in international trade, retail chain management and marketing in over 15 markets around the world. His managerial career in one of the international supermarket chains covered teams of over 10,000 people and an annual turnover of over $2 billion. In 2021, he received the international AWARD FOR HIGH REPUTATION award – for the implementation of an innovative retail format and impeccable business reputation.

Maksym Marshchivskyy is an example of an entrepreneur who sees business as a tool to influence the quality of life of society. His approach is not only about profit, but also about creating a stable space where clients receive comfort, service and trust.

In 2021, he actively participated in the professional community: he became a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal Futurity Economics&Law (Poland), received a reviewer certificate, and continued mentoring in business schools and supporting young entrepreneurs.
