VALERIY GOLYK
Founder of Sports Plaza Sports Club, Sports Club National, Restaurant Amster Damster

Valeriy Volodymyrovych Golyk is a member of the Ukrainian Business Award jury, an entrepreneur with many years of experience, a financial strategist and the founder of several successful businesses that continue to grow even in wartime conditions.
His journey as an entrepreneur began in 2011 with the opening of the “Enot Service” service station, which quickly established itself as a place with a human approach and high-quality service. In 2016, Valeriy launched the Amster Damster restaurant — a conceptual institution inspired by European culture, which is still in demand among Kyiv residents. Later, there were other initiatives — some were successful, some became a hardening experience.
Currently, Valeriy is the founder of the Sport Plaza sports club, co-founder of the “National” sports club and the Amster Damster restaurant. He is also a member of the Kliwla Family Office investment committee. In all these projects, Valeriy is responsible for strategic planning, financial management, anti-crisis solutions, and the implementation of new ideas.
His businesses continue to grow actively after 2022. Sports clubs have expanded the range of services, including introducing special programs for the military and students, creating open-air summer training grounds, implementing autonomous power supply, and operating as a shelter during air raids.
A key feature of the team is stability: most coaches have been working with Valery for over five years. He supports a policy under which the coach receives most of the income from services – this allows him to retain highly qualified specialists and maintain staff loyalty.
Valery is also involved in social initiatives. He provides financial advice to athletes, offers discounts for certain categories of the population, and supports charitable events. His approach combines a deep understanding of finance with empathy for people.
As a member of the Ukrainian Business Award jury, Valery evaluates companies from the perspective of practical experience: the ability to maintain financial discipline, work in a crisis, scale wisely, and create sustainable business models. His vision is based not on theory, but on real work with people, money, and the challenges that a Ukrainian entrepreneur faces every day.
