Rating of the Best Online Cybersecurity Courses in Ukraine from Ukrainian Business Award

Cybersecurity in Ukraine has ceased to be a niche IT specialization and has become a critically important industry for business, the public sector and international companies. The demand for information security specialists is steadily growing, which directly affects the development of educational programs and training formats. In 2025, students expect courses to provide not only theory, but also applied skills, structured programs, sufficient duration and high-quality support during training. That is why Ukrainian Business Award analyzed the key online cybersecurity courses operating on the Ukrainian market. The rating included programs that are distinguished by the real volume of training, reputation and stable quality indicators.

The duration of training directly affects the depth of immersion in the topic of cybersecurity and the opportunity to form a systemic understanding of the industry. The longest course is offered by SECURITY EXPERT group — 24 weeks, which allows you to study the material without haste and with an emphasis on practice. CYBRIX is in second place with 16 weeks, providing a medium-term training format. The courses at Kadry Dilovogo Svitu and ActPro last 12 weeks and are focused on applied cases. robot_dreams offers a ten-week program, while SOFTSERVE academy and CISKO academy are limited to eight weeks. The shortest format is offered by Web Academy (6 weeks) and IT Stolitsa (2 weeks), which is more suitable for basic familiarization.

The number of study hours shows the real amount of material that a student receives during the course. The absolute leader was CISKO academy with 70 hours, which indicates the intensity and richness of the program. SECURITY EXPERT group offers 60 hours, providing in-depth study of topics. Next are ActPro (54 hours) and SOFTSERVE academy (32 hours), which combine theory with practical tasks. A smaller but balanced volume is provided by Kadry Dilovogo Svitu and Web Academy – 24 hours each. The most compact formats are in robot_dreams, IT stolitsa and CYBRIX, where the number of hours does not exceed 20 and is suitable for the entry level.

The number of sections in the program demonstrates how detailed the educational material is and whether it covers different areas of cybersecurity. The most structured program is in robot_dreams and SECURITY EXPERT group – 20 sections each, which provides a comprehensive approach to learning. The Business World and ActPro programs offer 15 chapters each, forming a balanced program without overload. CYBRIX has 13 chapters, and SOFTSERVE academy and Web Academy have 12 chapters each, which allows you to cover key topics. Less detailed programs are available at IT Capital (8 chapters) and CISKO Academy (7 chapters), which focus on basic concepts and certification areas.

The level of student support, organization of the educational process and feedback play an important role in the quality of an educational product. The maximum 10 points were received by Web Academy, robot_dreams, CISKO academy and ActPro, which demonstrate stable work with students and clear communication. SOFTSERVE academy and IT stolitsa each have 9 points, which also provide comfortable learning conditions. Staff of Dilovo Svit, SECURITY EXPERT group and CYBRIX each received 8 points, which indicates a good level of service with the possibility of further improvement. In general, CX indicators in this category are at a fairly high level.

Search activity demonstrates how well the course or academy is known among potential students. The highest positions in terms of brand queries are occupied by SOFTSERVE academy and robot_dreams, which have a strong presence in the information field. They are followed by SECURITY EXPERT group, CISKO academy and Web Academy, which maintain a stable level of recognition. The second part of the list includes IT Solitsa, Kadry Dilovogo Svitu, ActPro, and CYBRIX, which are more focused on a local or niche audience. The difference in recognition is closely related to activity in digital channels and the scale of educational platforms.

The duration of presence in the education market is an important marker of stability and trust from students. The most experienced are Business World Personnel, which has been operating for 22 years, and IT Capital with a 19-year history. CISKO Academy has 16 years of operation, while Web Academy has been operating for over 10 years. ActPro has been operating for 9 years, and robot_dreams — 5 years, actively developing in modern formats. The youngest participants in the rating are SOFTSERVE academy and SECURITY EXPERT group (4 years each) and CYBRIX, which has been operating for only 1 year, but is already forming its niche.

Graduate reviews reflect the real quality of training and expectations that the course is able to meet. SOFTSERVE academy demonstrated an ideal result — 100% positive reviews, which is an exceptional indicator. ActPro (99%), IT Capital (98%), Web Academy (97%) and robot_dreams (96%) have very close results. CYBRIX received 95%, Business World Personnel — 93%. CISKO Academy (85%) and SECURITY EXPERT group (81%) have lower, but still acceptable, scores, which indicates different evaluations of the program by students.

Online attendance shows real interest in courses and the effectiveness of digital promotion. The absolute leader was robot_dreams with 407,750 visits in three months. High indicators are also in SOFTSERVE academy (221,278) and CISKO academy (131,366), which indicates the scale of the platforms. Web Academy, IT capital and Kadry Dilovogo Svitu have an average level. Significantly less traffic is in ActPro, SECURITY EXPERT group and CYBRIX, which are focused on a narrow audience or work without active online marketing.

Social networks are becoming an important channel for attracting students and building trust in educational programs. SOFTSERVE academy has the highest indicator — 7 points, which reflects systematic work with content. Robot_dreams and CISKO Academy also actively use social networks — 5 points each, and Web Academy has 4. The staff of Dilovoy Svit, CYBRIX, IT Stolytsia, and SECURITY EXPERT group each received 3 points, maintaining moderate activity. The lowest result is ActPro — only 1 point.

The final score takes into account the balance between the quality of the program, experience, service and reputation. The highest average score of 4.8 was received by robot_dreams, SOFTSERVE academy, Web Academy, IT stolitsa and CISKO academy, which were able to demonstrate consistently strong results by most criteria. ActPro and Kadry Dilovogo Svitu have a score of 4.7, which maintain confident positions in the rating. CYBRIX and SECURITY EXPERT group close the list with a score of 4.3, but remain important participants in the cybersecurity education market.

The rating of online cybersecurity courses in Ukraine in 2025 shows a wide range of formats – from short intensives to long-term comprehensive programs. Market leaders invest in the structure of courses, customer service and digital presence, forming high standards of training. At the same time, niche programs continue to find their audience due to specialization and a practical approach. For students, this means the opportunity to choose a course to suit their own goals — from a basic start to professional development in the field of cybersecurity.
