“Novyi Zir” once again confirmed its status as the best ophthalmological institution in Ukraine and became the winner of the Ukrainian Business Award 2025

This year, the network of clinics “Novyi Zir” became the winner of the national business award Ukrainian Business Award 2025. This is an official recognition of the stable medical expertise and contribution of the clinic to the development of modern ophthalmology.

The network of ophthalmological centers “Novyi Zir” has been helping people preserve and improve their vision for over twenty years. Its main advantage is a highly qualified team of doctors, with decades of practice and thousands of successful operations to restore vision. It is the quality of medical care, confirmed by international protocols and patient results, that became one of the key arguments in favor of winning the Ukrainian Business Award 2025.

“Novyi Zir” began its journey in 2004 with the opening of the first clinic in Kyiv. Today, there are six modern centers in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy. The clinics offer a full range of ophthalmological services – from primary diagnostics to complex combined eye surgeries for adults and children. A separate area is plastic surgery of the eye apparatus, which includes aesthetic and reconstructive interventions of varying complexity.

Each stage of treatment – from the first examination to the restoration of vision – is designed so that the patient feels maximum safety, comfort and confidence in the result. The centers use premium equipment from leading manufacturers from Germany, the USA and Japan. New generation femtosecond lasers, the InnovEyes WaveLight Plus system, 3D-complexes Ngenuity (USA) provide the highest accuracy of surgical interventions.

During its operation, the Novyi Zir network has provided assistance to over half a million patients, and all clinics consistently maintain high ratings in the independent Google review system. But it is not only this that is important: Novyi Zir continues to fulfill its social mission. The response to the challenges of war was the Mobile Ophthalmological Assistance initiative, within the framework of which the network’s doctors travel to frontline regions and provide free assistance to military personnel and civilians who have suffered eye injuries.

It was for this work that the network won the European Private Hospitals Awards 2025 in the “Healthcare System Resilience and Crisis Management” nomination. Two prestigious awards — European and national — confirm that even in wartime, Ukrainian medicine is able to remain strong, modern, and dedicated to people.
