Dmytro Dekanozishvili is an entrepreneur who brought Ukrainian engineering to a new level in the USA

After moving to the US from Ukraine, Dmitry Dekanozishvili didn’t just keep his business going — he scaled it to a new continent, building a competitive production of high-performance clutches for motorsport and road use.

Founded in 2021 in Florida, Deka Clutches LLC is already a household name in the automotive community. However, Dmitry’s history in this industry began much earlier. Over 10 years of experience in engineering and automotive components have allowed him to create proprietary solutions that are in demand in over 15 countries around the world, including the US, Canada, Germany, Japan, and Australia.

During global crises — the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine — Dmytro did not reduce the team or stop production, but on the contrary, he implemented strategic innovations: digital sales, contactless logistics, a new model of motivation through profit sharing. This allowed Deka Clutches not only to survive, but to grow confidently even in the most difficult periods.

Among the company’s achievements as of 2022:

• Full relocation of the business to the USA;
• Own production in Florida with investments of over $1 million;
• 11 clutch models and 9 transmissions developed, which are manufactured using proprietary technologies;
• Participation in leading international exhibitions, including the SEMA Show;
• Introduction of a three-month financial reserve for business stability;
• Launch of training programs for young mechanics in the USA and Ukraine.

Dmytro pays special attention to social responsibility: part of the company’s profits are invested in supporting veterans and immigrants from Ukraine, as well as in educational initiatives for technical youth.

Dmytro Dekanozishvili’s membership in the International Alliance Top Association, an authoritative association of business and industry leaders, was a recognition of his professional level and contribution to the development of the engineering industry. As a member of the Business & Economy Hub, he represents the Ukrainian engineering school at the global level, which is a sign of true talent and respect from the international professional community.
