The construction market in Kyiv is changing rapidly, and the demand for reliable suppliers of materials is growing every year. Competition among companies is becoming tougher, as buyers expect not only a wide range, but also accessibility, flexibility and quality service. Ukrainian Business Award has prepared an objective rating of industry leaders based on an analysis of quantitative and qualitative indicators. We took into account the scale of activity, reputation, work experience and level of customer orientation. This allowed us to highlight companies that set the pace of market development in 2025.
An extensive network of representative offices guarantees accessibility and convenience to customers. The leader is KUB, which has 135 branches across the country, which allows it to cover both large companies and private developers. Pobuduj with 24 points and ISK with five have much more modest results. BUDTECH and BudiYa have only four branches each, maintaining a regional level of work. The remaining participants are represented by one location, which limits their capabilities.

Cooperation with a large number of manufacturers allows the company to form the widest range. The absolute leader is KUB, which has partnerships with 772 manufacturers. ISK takes second place with 177, and STROYKAN and BUDGILD close the top three, with over a hundred each. Next are BUDTECH (122) and DEKORBUD (81). The smallest selection is offered by Pobuduj and Megatrade SM with indicators less than 20.
The variety of products allows the company to work with different client segments. ISK received the highest result – 31 categories of goods, ranging from mixtures to finishing materials. KUB with 29 categories is second, and BudiYa offers 21 categories. Slightly lower – BUDGILD with 18, while Megatrade SM has only 9. The lowest indicators are in DEKORBUD and OKSIDOM, which specialize in narrow areas.

A high level of service and convenient interaction with the client form a competitive advantage. The absolute leaders were STROYKAN and BudiYa, which received the maximum 10 points. ISK, OKSIDOM, KUB and BUDGILD were very close to them, with 9 points each. Slightly lower scores were received by BUDTECH, DECORBUD, Megatrade SM and Pobuduj – 8 each. All companies demonstrate a fairly high level of customer orientation, although the strongest ones have already been able to stand out in the market.
Brand recognition online directly depends on how often users search for the company on Google. Pobuduj arouses the greatest interest among the audience, which confirms its active marketing work. In second place is OKSIDOM, which maintains stable customer attention due to its specialization. In the middle of the rating are KUB, BudiYa and BUDGILD, which demonstrate a consistent level of recognition. STROYKAN, BUDTECH, Megatrade SM, DECORBUD, and ISK have weaker results, which need to work more on online promotion.

Experience in the market is a key factor in customer trust. DEKORBUD has the longest history, having been operating for 24 years and proven its stability in a dynamic environment. ISK and BUDGILD have 17 years of experience each, combining experience with constant development. OKSIDOM and Megatrade SM demonstrate 15 years of experience, which confirms their professionalism. KUB and Pobuduj have been operating on the market for 12 years, and the younger companies BUDTECH, BudiYa and STROYKAN are still in the stage of active growth.
The level of customer satisfaction is determined by the number of positive reviews. The absolute leader is STROYKAN with a perfect 100%, which emphasizes the impeccable quality of service. High results were demonstrated by BudiYa (97%), KUB (96%), OKSIDOM (95%) and BUDGILD (94%). Slightly lower ratings are given to ISK (93%) and DEKORBUD (89%), which still retain customer trust. The lowest percentage of positive reviews is recorded at Pobuduj (82%), which indicates the need to improve the service.

A company’s online presence directly affects its ability to attract customers. The leader in this category was KUB, whose website was visited by over 426 thousand users. BudiYa (111 thousand) and Pobuduj (73 thousand) also have significant traffic, which indicates effective work in the digital space. BUDTECH with 53 thousand and OKSIDOM with 43 thousand maintain an average level of online activity. Other companies lag behind, with from 34 thousand (BUDGILD) to 3 thousand (DEKORBUD), which limits their influence on the market.
Social networks are an important channel for communicating with customers and building loyalty. Megatrade SM is the most active in this area, having received the highest rating for its presence in social networks. KUB, OKSIDOM, BUDGILD and Pobuduj demonstrate stable activity, which maintain a regular dialogue with customers. BUDTECH and STROYKAN have an average level, working in this direction, but less systematically. DECORBUD and BudiYA have a minimal presence, and ISK is completely absent from digital communications.

The final word was left to the experts, who took into account a set of all criteria. The highest score was received by OKSIDOM, Pobuduj, BUDGILD, KUB, DEKORBUD and STROYKAN – each company scored an average of 4.8 points. Slightly lower results were obtained by Megatrade SM, BUDTECH and BudiYa – 4.7 points. The most modest score was received by ISK, which stopped at 4.5 points. However, all companies included in the rating remain important players in the capital’s building materials market.
The rating of companies selling building materials in Kyiv in 2025 showed that both large players with powerful resources and younger companies that are just forming their positions operate on the market. The leader in scale and influence was KUB, which combines the widest network, a huge number of manufacturers and a significant presence in the digital environment. STROYKAN and BudiYa were able to stand out thanks to impeccable customer orientation, while ISK and DEKORBUD rely on experience and depth of assortment. New players, such as Pobuduj, are actively investing in recognition and marketing, which allows them to grow rapidly. All companies represented in the rating form a competitive environment that guarantees consumers choice, and the market – development and dynamics in 2025.
